Sixpence None The Richer – A Million Parachutes

snow-and-lighs

About the picture: I was near Boston (USA) on last October and suddenly it started to snow… the houses were ready to Halloween but snow came faster then the pumpkins! Magical… and Sixpence None the Richer is the best band ever!

Feeling Cold

And then I fall into your arms
Softly, slowly as snow
'Cause you know how
To keep me warm
And your love is what
I always wanted to know

lost-dreams

About the picture: I took this picture into a bus when I was traveling for Minas Gerais state, Brazil. It looks like an old and tired image… maybe old and tired are not the perfect words but this is the way I felt  to post this picture on this month.

.
Lost Dreams
.
And now I have white mirrors in my head.
My eyes don't see as they used to see yesterday
And I forgot where I put my glasses again
What have I done in all these years?
.
I didn't swin on the dark river.
I didn't laugh when it was funny.
I didn't cry when you're gone.
I didn't think about these verses before.
I didn't share my troubles and sadness.
I didn't know one day my legs would stop me.
I fought for nothing.
I didn't fall in love.
.
I have no time.
I'm in a countdown.
What did I do?
What did I do...

tree

About the picture: I was in a beach at Espírito Santo state litoral. It was a rainy August day there… then I saw this tree and the sea… and I made the picture! Actually I’m thinking about post “About the song” too… enjoy the view…

Sin querer

Cómo volver a la vida
Después de un sueño roto?
No puedo seguir adelante
Yo no tengo tu amor
No más.

No puedo estar sin tu cariño
Nunca quise despertar de mi sueño
Pero el tiempo corrió
Como un lince en campo abierto
Pasó.

Y nada me queda más
No estás acá para curar mi dolor
Te perdi en mis miedos
Volví al principio vacío
Temi.

Quiero volver al sueño perdido
Quiero tus brazos e manos
A mi rededor otra vez
Quiero tus besos e tu respiración.
Sin ti.

Se tú estuvieras aquí, sin embargo,
Yo podría empezar todo de nuevo.
La vida, el sueño, el vacío, el dolor.

fish

About the picture: These are fishes at Belo Horizonte’s Zoo. I took this picture at my last visit there and I though the colors in the picture are the colors of the poem bellow…

Floating

So I am floating

I’m thinking ’bout you

But you’re miles away

I listen to the radio

I play these empty drums

And I can not catch you

But I am still floating

I am losing the ground

Where will the wind lead me?

And I do not know why

I’m still thinking ’bout you

I should think ’bout forever

I really should think ’bout

Where all my treasures are

So I would find my heart

Maybe tomorrow I’ll live a nice day

And maybe there will be a sunrise

And maybe I’ll finally touch the ground

About the picture:I took this picture on last year, in Belo Horizonte. This is for the Brazilian Valentine’s Day… You know:  the end of the day… the moon… the different colors in the sky… it sounds so romantic, doesn’t it? So I choose this picture to put between the song and the poem.

E é assim…

Mas vai chover?
Quem é você?
Gosta de mim?

Onde cê vai?
Vai demorar?
Eu posso ir?
É perigoso?

Por que não deu?
Por que chorar?
Pra quê sorrir?

Será que tem?
E vai doer?

Garfo ou colher?
Posso comer?
Quente ou gelado?
Seco ou molhado?
Frito ou grelhado?

Bossa ou metal?
Preto ou azul?

Estás com medo?
Cê vem comigo?
Te amo tanto…

About the picture: I was in Ouro Preto, a very old historic city of Brazil. I was walking on those old streets and I found this shy light… trying to light that old, sad and lonely wall…

Shy

I don’t wanna talk about the weather:
Just tell me what happens into your heart!

I don’t care if today is a cloudy day:
Just let me know you’ve always loved me!

I don’t wanna hear about the rain:
Just come to me and look at my eyes!

Please, don’t tell me that the sun is shinning:
Just hold me in your arms and I’ll be fine…

blue-butterfly

About the picture: I was in front of Igapó Lake in Londrina, Paraná state, Brazil, with my friend when I saw this beautiful butterfly in the middle of old leaves of trees and I had to capture its image with my cam…

Blue Butterfly

It is about treasure.
It is about hope.
There will always be
Color in the ashes.

Hope is so beautiful
It could spark into the chaos.
It is so fragile
It could be broken
With just one word.

Even it is too small
I could find it
Wherever it would be.

lightning

About the picture: A storm was coming to us and I tried to capture a lightning in Belo Horizonte (again…)

Blindness

I am lost in my own mistakes
There’s a storm in my head
I wanna a sunshine
But just a lightning comes
And it’s freaking me out

I’m searching for the light
But it’s too dark
To find the switch

About the picture: I took this picture when I visited a Japanese garden in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil.

Glass

My soul is too volatile
My life is so fleeting
That everything could hurt me
That everything could kill me

If life is a gift
Why do we have to die?
